He was born to the late Ernest P. and Emma S. Campbell on November 26, 1927.
He is survived by daughters Kathy Elvington (Sam) and Beth Ward (Tim), granddaughter Meredith Ward, and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his loving wife Betty Campbell, son Ernie Campbell, and sisters Geneva Bowden (Hugh), Mildred Pruitt (Avery), Lily Busbee (Arch), and Mary Robinson (Mitchell).
The family will receive friends at The Mackey Mortuary in Greenville on Thursday, October 19th from 1:30-2:30pm.
A graveside service at Woodlawn Memorial Park will follow the visitation.
