

Molly Sullivan Cureton was born September 11, 1927 in Greenville South Carolina. She joined the Lord on Wednesday March 16, 2011. Molly was the daughter of the late King David and Pluma Sullivan of Greenville and was a loving mother of nine children. Molly had an amazing smile that was only surpassed by her kind, nurturing spirit. She worked hard her entire life to support her family and opened her heart and home to many others. She was always a positive influence on everyone and she had a way of making all those she encountered feel special. Molly leaves to to mourn her sister Marie Sullivan Jackson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and eight children as well as their spouses: Myrtle Hall Smith (Russell), Maude Marie Shell, Cecilia Jean Albert (James), Ann Howell (George), Oscar Clyde Cureton (Sandra), and Thomas Charles Cureton, all of Greenville, South Carolina, as well as Princess Cureton (Thomas Way) of Norwalk, Connecticut and James Sullivan (Beatrice) of Long Island New York. She will be joining her daughter on the other side, the late Ellen Gail Nix, survived by her husband Barry of Greenville. Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 20, 2010 at 2:30 am at the Reedy River Missionary Baptist Church with the burial to follow. Passover will be held at the Reedy River Life Center.
