Norma Lee Chandler, 95 of Simpsonville, SC passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. Born in Greenville, SC she was the daughter of the late Tryman Rudolph and Sallie Agnes Merrill Sammons. She was a member of Earle Street Baptist Church and former member of Central Baptist Church. Norma was predeceased by her husband Wesley Chandler; two sisters: Dorothy and Lila Sammons; two brothers: James and Melvin Sammons. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Ronald W. and Jan Chandler of Greenwood, SC; three grandchildren: Scott (Kelley) Chandler, Keith (Ashleigh) Chandler; Andrea (Jeff) Land; five great-grandchildren: Alyssa Land, Blake Land, Morgan Chandler, Aubrey Chandler, Josie Chandler and a sister: Mae Ole Dawson of Knoxville, TN. Funeral service will be Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00am in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home followed by the burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends following the burial in the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Earle Street Baptist Church 225 W.
