Norma Johnson Russell, 90, widow of John Morrison Russell, Jr. passed away peacefully Thursday morning September 17, 2015.
Born in Bristow, Oklahoma she was the daughter of the late Herschel and Gertude Henson Johnson.
Mrs. Russell was retired from Furman University as an Administrative Assistant. She was a member of Center Point Wesleyan Church in Laurens. Norma's favorite pastimes were reading, square dancing and spending fun times with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen R. Marler, and son Edward L. Williams, Jr.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Brenda Russell of Greer; and five grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather for a graveside service at 2:30pm Saturday in the Mausoleum Chapel at Graceland East Cemetery with the Reverend Tim Huckaby officiating.
