"Tish" and her brother and three sisters were my very close cousins.   Their dad  (Uncle Charlie)  was my great uncle.  He was the brother of my Mama Jones and his wife (Aunt Reatha)  who was the glue that held them together  They lived across the block from us in Clio and we interacted and saw each other daily.  Tish was 4 years behind me in school and was like my little sister.  She was the epitome of sweetness and kindness. and  was the youngest and last of that family that I miss  so very much.  Such great memories of the years playing  as kids, just being great friends and growing up together.  That opportunity of being with them taught me to respect girls and women and how to play with cutout paper dolls.  At 83, I think I'm the oldest one left in that fantastic family and know we will be re-united in Heaven.

Tish and I played bridge in the Furman group for many years, Noel and Charlie were Furman professors together, and our daughter Kim graduated from Travelers Rest High School in the same class as Lang.  So we all had wonderful years of overlapping memories.  Tish and I were the same age, so it hit especially hard when I first heard that she was ill. 
 Noel and I were away on a road trip to NY when the memorial service took place, and we were saddened to miss it.  We want to express our sincere sympathy to Tish’s entire family.  We know it is a tremendous loss.       Connie and Noel Kane-Maguire

I loved Tish!  We worked together at Trinity in many ways with the Presbyterian Women and with her decorating the church for Christmas.  So sorry for the sad news of her passing.  Your family is in our prayers during this difficult time.  Loretta and Rudy Blakely 

Tish was my "little sister" and my cousin.  We grew up together with Dot, Charles Clifton (bubba), Cornelia, Mimi, uncle Charlie and Aunt Reatha across the block from us. She and Dot would come to our house and we would sit on the porch and play with paper dolls.  They helped me to expand my appreciation for the feelings of others and taught me to appreciate and respect the feelings of the feminine side of the family.   Time, life, children and distance separated us physically but will never separate us mentally or emotionally.  Even though we didn't communicate much, we were a very close family.  She was the last of Uncle Charlie and Aunt Reatha's children and I know she and the others will be waiting for me when the Lord decides to reconnect us for eternal joy in each other's presence.

Tish, was a wonderful friend who helped me so much after becoming a member at Trinity Presbyterian Church, working on the Angel Tree Committee & also serving with her in the Travelers Rest Garden Club.  She always had a smile on her face & was always contributing so much to others & many organizations.
She was truly a wonderful friend to me & I will miss her dearly. Thanks for all the help you gave me when  I was keeping my now belated granddaughter, Alyss.

As I think back over the time since we moved to Travelers Rest, Tish stands out in my mind  as the most special friend to me. She guided me to become acquainted with the town and things to do and best places to shop in the area.  Talking with her always lifted my spirits.  Shortly after I joined the TRGC during a conversation, Tish encouraged us to get our 6 year old grandson involved in the basketball program at Trinity Presbyterian Church.  Within a month we were members of the church.  It was always a treat hanging the greens at church with her directions. 
Whether I met up with  Tish at church, garden club or the grocery store, she had an addictive smile and time for a friendly conversation.
