Patricia Pyron

Patricia Myrtle Mabry Pyron, 87 years old, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday morning July 6, 2025 with her children by her side. She is survived by her son Daniel Ray Pyron, daughter Mary Rochelle Pyron Garrett, son-in-law Patric Nelson Garrett, granddaughter Kristin Faith Gonzalez Grice and great granddaughter Harper Madison Grice as well as nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Oscar MacDonald Mabry and Thelma Kane Mabry, brothers William Oscar Mabry and Daniel Kane Mabry, sister Myrna Loy Mabry Walker, and daughter-in-law Candy Lynn Johnson Pyron.

She resided in Simpsonville South Carolina and was formerly from El Dorado Arkansas where she was lovingly raised by her aunt and uncle Maggie Kane and Ellis Brinkley Patterson. Pat graduated from El Dorado High School in 1955 and worked as a homemaker and an administrative assistant until retiring in 2005 from Piedmont National in Atlanta Georgia.

Pat was a fortunate woman able to live an active life reading, driving, meeting with friends, bus stop pick-ups with her great granddaughter, morning devotionals, attending church, exercising with silver sneakers, and puzzles with a friend. She loved her children, her granddaughters, family and friends. She was an active member of Firstrock Church supported by the love of her church family which was central in her life. She lived the life she wanted with friends, family and faith.
