R. Vanoy Wilson, 96, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Vanoy was retired from Cryovac in Simpsonville, SC and was a member of Paris Mountain Church for over 65 years.
Vanoy loved his family more than anything. He is survived by son, Mike Wilson (Janet); grandchildren, Michelle Wilson Mast (Michael), Michael Wilson, Jr. (Lauren), and Brock Bolin (Kelly); and great-grandchildren, Dakota Mast, Thomas, Ethan and Sandy Bolin, and Michael Wilson III.
He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Wilson, and daughter, Sandy Wilson Bolin.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive in Greenville. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, with burial to follow in the park.
