Raleigh has never not been in my life. I grew up next door with Raleigh and Judy as my second parents and often ran away from home if even for a few minutes and have a snack before heading back home. Raleigh was my first boss at a summer job doing landscaping and got me going in the real working world - sunburns, bee stings and all. Raleigh was always there, present, attentive, interested, no matter what the subject. He knew how to work hard, and laugh hard. I so admire he and Judy’s traveling spirit and will always have a part of Raleigh’s spirit in me wherever I travel! God bless the family and I love you all so much.

Raleigh and Judy moved next to us when they moved to Ohio from Florida. We were neighbors, then friends and became family through out the passing years. God not only put us all together there, in his design he brought us together here to S.C. What a precious lifetime of having Raleigh in our lives through the many things that happen throughout life. He has always been a man who loves his family and friends through such a a servants heart. Always available to help and do whatever it takes. Not only did he love us and others , he was a true example of what a Godly man should be. His example will live through each and every one that knew him. His example lives on through his family as they carry forth the witness of God’s love and his salvation. We had 52 years of loving friendship and wish we could have more but I know our father is saying , well done good and faithful servant. We will love you forever Raleigh. Don(Bud) and Mary McClure

My husband and I met the Johnsons at our first community group from church. They were such a friendly and kind couple and we have always remembered them through the years. We recall them excitedly telling us of a road trip they were taking so they could see and enjoy different places. We knew Raleigh helped out at a Miracle Hill ministry; by just speaking with him one could tell he had a loving servant's heart. Our deepest condolences to Judy and his family. We are sad to hear of his passing and look forward with hope and joy to fellowship with him one day again in the Lord.
