Ralph G Vinson, age 87 passed away on Monday December 30, 2019. Ralph was born December 24, 1932 to Bessie Blackwell Vinson and Cliff Vinson.
Ralph was veteran of the United States Navy. After his service to our country, Ralph worked as a truck driver for over 40 years.
Ralph was an avid gardener and loved riding his tractor and planting many tomato plants and rows of corn. Ralph also loved the Clemson Tigers.
Ralph served his community as a member of the Masons and Shriners.
Ralph is survived by son Kent Vinson (Dianne); and daughter Melissa Vinson; grandchild Nicole Hillman (Brian), grandchild Kayla Suber (Drew), grandchild Dexter Vinson, great grandchild Kolton Suber, great grandchild Harvey Suber, great grandchild Bryson Hillman;.brother Hoyt Vinson and sister Glenna Isler
Ralph was preceded in death by wife Mildred Spurlock Vinson; father Cliff Vinson and mother Bessie Blackwell Vinson
A visitation for Ralph will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 3, 2020 at 2:30 PM in the funeral home chapel. A burial will occur following the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

To the family of Ralph Vinson. Sorry that I was unable to attend the services due to illness. Even through it had been many years since I saw Ralph, I remember many family events we share together.
I will always remember his wit and and sense of humor. To Kent and Melisa I am truly sorry for your lost. May God bless you and all your family.
