She was born in Ware Shoals, SC on June 15, 1941, to Louannah Everett Hill and John Lee Hill. She was a member of the Simpsonville United Methodist Church. She was pre-deceased by her parents and her sister, Thelma Hill Lynch, and her first husband Herbert Allen Scott.
She retired from Kemet electronics in 1996, where she had worked in Production Control. She served on the Greenville District United Methodist Women’s team as Treasurer from 1996-2000 and Communications Coordinator from 2004-2008. She also was on the Foothills Emmaus Board from 1999-2002. She held many positions in the Simpsonville United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
She is survived by her brothers: John Michel Hill of Rock Hill, SC and William Joseph (Bill) Hill of North Charleston, SC and nephews, Richard David Lynch (Cindy) of Hanahan, SC, William Donald Hill (Karen) of Cary, NC, Alex Hill of Rock Hill, SC, and niece Katie Hill of Rock Hill, SC, great nephews: Jonathan Lynch of Hanahan SC and Tyler Hill of Cary, NC and one great niece Jennifer Lynch Hirschler (Mark) of Ladson, SC.
A funeral service for Reba will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, with visitation starting at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Greenwood, SC.
