Reva Ballard Bryson

She received her master’s in education degree from East Tennessee State University and was a teacher for 38 years, primarily in Tennessee. Reva was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to the Lord and to her family.

Reva is survived by her sons, Jeff Bryson (Terrie) and Tony Bryson (Leigh Ann); grandchildren, Jared Bryson (Shannon), Evan Bryson (Vania), Meredith Rosendahl (Joshua), Abigail Bryson, Micah Bryson, and Joshua Bryson; great-grandchildren, Cade Bryson, Morgan Rosendahl, Kara Bryson, Lindsey Rosendahl, Kaitlyn Bryson, Dusty Rosendahl, and Kyla Bryson; her sister, Marie Sitton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years Albert Bryson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Morningside Baptist Church, 1115 Pelham Road, Greenville, SC 29615 with visitation prior to service at 10:00 AM.

Graveside service will be held at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Reva’s honor can be made to The Wilds Christian Camp of North Carolina and sent to The Wilds Christian Association, PO Box 509, Taylors, SC 29687.
