Born in Detroit, MI, Mr. Reid was the son of the late Harvey and Catherine Reid.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He loved his dog, Precious. Mr. Reid was active with Senior Action and the Veteran group at the senior center.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Winifred.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Likert (Gary); his son, Richard L. Reid (Diana); and his grandson, Nathan Likert.
