Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Malcolm J. and Dorothy E. Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Hendrix is survived by a daughter, Rhonda S. Pace; three grandchildren, Ryan Pace, Emma Pace, and Lily Pace; a brother, Danny Hendrix; a sister-in-law, Jackie Hendrix; and his caregiver, Peggy Weishuff.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lee Road United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
