Roy Clifton Jones Jr.

Roy married his late wife, Nell Snyder Jones, on April 1, 1955. He and Nell purchased and managed Yellow Cab of Greenville, from which he retired in 1998. Roy was a simple man that enjoyed the little things in life. His family fondly remembers his sense of humor, always delivering amusing one-liners. Roy was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are sons, Roy Clifton Jones, III (Esther) of Plano, Texas, Danny James Jones (Chellie) of Spartanburg, and Mark Ellis Jones of Greenville; daughters, Cathy Hayes (Keith) of Pickens, Christy Jones of Greenville, and Asia Martin of Greenville; grandsons, Christopher Roy Jones and Justin Thomas Hayes; great grandson, Riley James Thomas Hayes.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Mackey Funerals & Cremations Century Drive with a gathering following in the Kirkland Event Room.
