Russ Alex Lofland, 51, husband of Melinda, passed away Saturday 21, 2022 at McCall Hospice House. He was born, October 8, 1970 in Okinawa, Japan in a military hospital to Charles and Mattie Sue Lofland.
In addition to his wife and step sons Joshua Bailey (Kristin) and Jeremy Bailey (Kristen), Russ is survived by his mother, Mattie Sue Lofland, two brothers Scott (Nada) and Rodney (Nancy). Russ is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Service for Russ will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, with visitation from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm. A committal service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 14050 E Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29651.
Russ was a musician and assembler at General Electric, but most proudly, he was a wonderful son, brother, friend and husband.
