Ruth Carol (Boyle) Jensen, 82, passed peacefully early Saturday morning, October 14, 2022, in Greenville, SC, of a recent heart illness. She was born in Passaic, New Jersey, and was preceded in death by her husband, Michael George Jensen, CMDR USN Ret, and her parents, Ruth (Whitelaw) and Edward Robert Boyle. The couple shared 58 years of marriage when Michael passed away on December 19, 2017.
Ruth lovingly raised her children, David Jensen and Lynda Ham. She cherished her 2 grandchildren Michael and Jonathan Ham. She was the oldest of three sisters, Edith Goldberg and Nora Kolzen (Edward).
As a devoted Navy wife, Ruth enjoyed a fulfilling nursing career and made lifelong friendships as they moved around the country. Her smile and kindness will be missed by many.
