Sandra Hadden Miller

A native of Duncan, SC, Sandra graduated from Byrnes High School in 1962. She later moved to Greenville, SC where in 1967 she married her husband, Ed H. Miller Jr. Together, they raised their three children. She was a homemaker extraordinaire, and the fiercest protector of family. She was present at all sporting events and never missed a chance to question the decision of any soccer referee. Later she would become the proud grandmother of four, spending countless weekends teaching them how to play card games at the family lake property. She shared an especially close bond with her three siblings and those memories will be cherished forever.

She was predeceased by her parents, Curtis Sr. and Thelma Southers Hadden as well as her brother, Curtis Jr. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ed. H. Miller Jr as well as her three children – Karrie (Jordin) Miller, Trey (Kelly) Miller, and Ryan (Wendy) Miller. Left behind are her sisters Karen Turner and Judy Phillips and sister-in-law Vicki Hadden as well as her granddaughters Emma, Grace and Lillian Miller and grandson Hensley Miller. Countless nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws will also be left with wonderful memories.

A visitation for Sandra will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC, followed by a funeral service at 2:30 pm.
