Born in Coffee County, GA on September 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late M. C. and Modena Cowart. She was the widow of Arthur D. Price, and is survived by her two sons, Andrew and Stephen. Sandra was raised in Axson, GA and settled in Greenville, SC with her husband, Arthur. She was a dedicated wife and mother, and a member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church for 40 years. She was an avid gardener, a voracious reader, a lifelong anglophile, and a self-proclaimed “coffee-holic.”
A visitation will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 1021 Hudson Rd, Greenville, with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m. The burial will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thornwell Home for Children in Clinton, SC, one of Sandra’s favorite charities.
