Sarah Bridges Ragsdale, 94, wife of the late Eugene Clifton Ragsdale, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Pardee Memorial Hospital in Hendersonville, NC.
Born in Anderson County, a child of the late Clayton and Lila Looper Bridges, Sarah worked at Judson Mill as a cloth inspector until her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Ragsdale (Kathy); two daughters, Dianne Hensley and Sandra Sweezy; five sisters; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Porterfield; three sons-in-law, Fred Hensley, Bobby Sweezy, and Hal Porterfield; and a sister, Ruby Eison.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the chapel of The Mackey Mortuary. Burial will be private in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Saturday, prior to the services at The Mackey Mortuary.
