Sherry Lynn Flores

August 9, 1970June 20, 2020

Sherry L. Flores age 49, passed away in her sleep on June 20, 2020 at her home in Greenville, S.C. She was a loving mother to her two children and two pets. She was born on August 9, 1970 and has since created an ever-lasting legacy at her company, Bed Bath & Beyond. She was the kind of person you could tell anything to, the one that would always be there to listen and love you unconditionally. She spent her days always trying to make others laugh and smile. It mattered not what your problem was, as she was always there to help you through it, even if she could not give you the answer. She was married to her late husband, Martin Flores in Stamford, Connecticut.

She enjoyed cooking, crafts, baking, and travel. She never stopped trying to learn new or old things and could take on any challenge she was faced with. Her creativity to work any problem or idea out was one of her many great strengths. She was a great mother, an inspiring teacher, an open-minded listener, a selfless giver, and a no-nonsense go-getter. She was not afraid to let you know of her displeasure of you, but still had the decency to treat you with respect and a smile.

She is survived by her two children, Marisa and Jasen; her mother, Linda; her sister, Krystal; long distance family members; longtime friends; and all the people whose lives she touched along her lifetime. Her journey and impact does not end here and she will continue to live with us forever. She is greatly loved by us all and will be dearly missed.

You were one of the first people to help me enjoy my own laugh. Your kind heart was a great comfort in high school and your fearless spirit was something I was jealous of. I have so many fond memories of you. I am thankful to have counted you my friend, I am sorry the years were so sort.

To Sherry,
You were so much more than a colleague. You were my road mother. Through 16 weeks of travel last year, you made sure I was always taken care of. I will miss trading witty texts and holiday greetings. Most of all, of course, I will miss you.
Rest well,

So much sass and honesty! If you reached out to Sherry for help , especially on the road, tired and out of your element ~ she did everything in her power to make sure you were taken care of. It was like she was standing right next to you, telling you "I got this!"
Completely selfless, total friendship ❤
Anyone who was lucky to know her , knows of her huge heart and loyal compassion ❤
