Stan hired me into the IT Department at Fluor Daniel. He was a special, gentle, kind man who guided and encouraged his employees. I’ll be forever grateful for his friendship and guidance.  He always had a loving smile when he would speak of his family.  Until we meet again my dear friend. 

Prayers for your loss.   I knew and worked for Stan for many years at Fluor.  Stan was the calm in the storm and was always there to help when I needed guidance.   He talked often of his family and how proud he was of them.   

Prayers for the Gore family. The first words I think of about Stan are kind, gentle and respectful: a true Southern gentleman. I met Stan while still in college and interviewing for an internship at Fluor Daniel (circa 1990). On my first day of interviews, Stan took me to lunch at McGuffey's. Stan sensed I was overwhelmed and not doing all that great. Over lunch he coached me like a dad would coach his son. I remember that day like it was yesterday and often think about it and how grateful I am to Stan. He pushed his pause button in whatever he was dealing with to help me... and I do my best to do the same to help that next generation out. Grateful.

I am so, so sorry. Please know that you and the family are in my prayers.

I knew Stan during his Fluor days. We worked together in IT and became good friends. He was a kind and gentle soul that never hesitated to lend a hand or share his knowledge. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family who he loved so much and was incredibly proud of. 

Our deepest sympathy to the Gore family.  I graduated with Stan's older brother, Gardner.  I knew Stan when we lived in Seneca.  My wife went to school with Jennine, so we also knew his parents. So sorry for your loss Vicki....I have fond memories of Stan and you taking Michael and myself to my first Atlanta Braves baseball game way back when!.....And I think you let us tag along more than once!..Prayers for your family...
