Sue Callaham Skarupa

Born and raised in Belton, South Carolina, Sue lived a full and meaningful life centered on family, friendship, and the simple joys she cherished. She was an avid gardener who took great pride in her flowers and plants, and she loved spending time with a good book. A skilled seamstress, Sue shared her talents generously. Above all, she treasured her family and enjoyed socializing with her many friends throughout the years.

Sue was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Estes; her second husband, Jack Skarupa; and her son, Steve Estes.

She is survived by her children, Mike Boje-Estes (Erica), Vicki Skarupa (Mike), and Stan Estes (Robin); her stepdaughters, Karen Skarupa and Laurie Regan; and her special friend and caregiver, Jill Benson.

Sue also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Danna Moore (Jay), Elizabeth Wynn (Donald), Caroline O'Neill (Sean), Mary Bristow (Melton), Will Boje-Estes (Crystal), and Harrison Estes (Megan), as well as ten great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1201 Shady Grove Rd, Belton, SC 29627 on June 15, 2026 at 11:00 am.
