Born on February 18, 1951, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Sue lived in a variety of places throughout her life including the Yellowstone area of Wyoming, Mount Dora, Florida, Savannah, Georgia, and most recently Greenville, South Carolina.
Sue graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in Green Bay, and continued her education at University of Wisconsin in Green Bay and Milwaukee. Sue was loyal to her Green Bay roots and was a proud Green Bay Packers fan.
Professionally, Sue served as a librarian at various colleges and libraries.
Sue is survived by her nieces Gretchen Gloudeman (Rick), Kate Naumann, Stephanie Steinfeldt (Craig), and great-nephews Cole Lenhardt, and Max and Alex Steinfeldt. Also left to cherish Sue's memory are her constant friends Carol Crawford and Jackie Rogers.
Sue was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Rosalie Sawyer, sister Mary Naumann, and brother-in-law Harvey Naumann.
Services to remember Sue will be held at Bay City Baptist Church in Green Bay on Saturday, September 12, 2026, with a visitation beginning at 9:30am, and service to follow at 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts in honor of Sue be made to Bay City Baptist Church at 1840 Bond St, Green Bay, WI 54303.
