Ted John Dreibrodt

Ted J. Dreibrodt, 80, of Greenville, SC, husband of the late Rita Justus Dreibrodt, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016.

Born in Chicago, IL he was the son of the late Ralph and Marie Dreibrodt. A 1954 graduate of Hendersonville (NC) High School, he worked as a mainframe computer operator and retired from John D. Hollingsworth in 2001. Ted participated in and served as a leader with the Boy Scouts of America for over 70 years. He also was a member and leader of the BSA Order of the Arrow for over 54 years. He was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son, Rocky Dreibrodt and his wife, Cheryl of Greenville, SC and two grandchildren; Brittany Dreibrodt and Justin Dreibrodt.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the wonderful caregivers of Spring Park Assisted Living and Memory Care in Travelers Rest, SC and Interim Hospice Care of Greenville, SC.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Greenville, SC. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Shepherd Memorial Park in Hendersonville, NC.
