Ted was born in Greenville South Carolina on January 26 1957 to Billy and Lois (Smith) Hendrix.
He married Blanca (Estela) Hendrix on November 26 1983. He worked as a State and Federal Probation Officer for over 30 years. He was known as a hard worker and a selfless friend.
He enjoyed running, cooking for friends and family, and college football.
Ted is survived by his wife Blanca, his son Ellis, his father Billy, and brother David.
A visitation for Ted will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607. A funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM. A committal service will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673.
