Thomas William Gibbons, 67, dedicated husband of Carol Gibbons for 39 years passed away on January 16, 2016. Born in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late James and Mary Gibbons. Tom retired from Para Chem/Royal Adhesives as a Research and Development chemist. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Thomas James Gibbons of Austin, Texas; six brothers and four sisters; many nieces and nephews; and also many dear friends who thought the world of him. Thomas's passion in life was his great skill of cooking which he contributed from watching his mother-in-law cook in the early days. He enjoyed cooking for as many people as he can, the more the better. Never cooked the same thing twice, and never followed a recipe. Also and more importantly, he was a very passionate man who always put others first before himself, and never wanted anything in exchange, and gave generously to charities. He was loved by all who knew him. Not only was he a kind man, but the most intelligent human being anyone ever encountered. A Celebration of his Life will be observed at a later date.
