

Born in Washington County, Virginia, he was a son of the late Arthur Clayton and Thelma Gilland Richardson. Thomas enjoyed spending time outdoors camping, playing golf, and fishing and also cooking, playing pool, and most recently he had learned to play the guitar. Thomas also enjoyed working with his hands as he was a Home Improvement Specialist by trade. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies. Thomas proudly served our Country in the US Army.
He is survived by his three children, Halee Yates of Mountain City, Tennessee, Thomas Richardson of Easley, South Carolina, and Santanna Randolph (J.T.) of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; five siblings, Arthur, Jr., Robin, Darrell, Heather, and Charles “Butch”; two grandchildren, Braxton, Brinlie, and one on the way; and his step-father, Ralph Richardson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Vivian.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, South Carolina 29607. Military Honors will be rendered at 3:45pm.
