She was born in Knoxville, TN to the late Orville Dunn and Rhoda Vandergriff Dunn.
In 1955 she married David Wardlaw Gambell. She and David made their home in Greenville where she was a preschool teacher at Westminster Presbyterian Church and a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church.
During her life she enjoyed the outdoors, motor trips and was a vegetarian. Tina was known for her incredible wit and greeted everyone with bright eyes and beautiful smile.
Surviving are her son, Steven Wardlaw Gambrell of Rainsville, AL; daughters, Julie Gambrell of Greenville and Lisa Virginia Gambrell (Lynn Telford) of Black Mountain, NC; special friend, Barbara Yonce of Greenville; sister, Joan Moon; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded by her beloved husband; brothers, Earl Dunn, Hobart Dunn, and Paul Dunn; sisters, Dotty Collins, Joyce Koontz, and Yvonne Holloway.
Funeral service Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Mackey Mortuary Chapel.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial following in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
