Trapier Keith Hart, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday evening November 23, 2021. Born in Greenwood, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Robert and Adeline Hart.
Trap was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served as first lieutenant in the United States Army. He was a talented basketball player who was inducted into the Hall of Fame at Greenwood High and Wofford College. He spent a significant portion of his career as a financial planner. He was an active member of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church where he served as elder and Sunday School teacher for many years.
Trap is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Shannon Hart; his three daughters Swanna Hart, Shannon Forthman, Allison Hill (Chris Hill); his brother Carroll Hart; his grandsons Carter Hill, Andrew Hill, Graham Hill, Wyatt Hill, Adam Forthman, Jake Forthman as well as his niece Beth Shannon Johnson and her daughter Adeline Blackwell.
Trap was preceded in death by his brothers Bob Hart, Alec Hart and David Hart.
A visitation for Trapier will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive, 311 Century Drive, Greenville, SC 29607, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
