Sue, this is a voice from your past (and Truman's). I happen to see Truman's obituary in Sunday's "Greenville News." The two of you were always dear to me, and I regret the years got away from us. I know this is a hard time and what a loss for you and for all of us that knew Truman. I can envision that twinkle in his eye when he was giving me a hard time. He was a good soul, and he will be remembered with fondness. Diane

Mr. Batson was our insurance agent for many years and I still remember that he was always a very kind person to our family.

I especially remember the huge stack of papers in this black bound book he carried with him each time on his visits to the house--and I as a little girl, I never quite understood how he could carry all of those papers with him every day!

My Mother (Jean Frazier) and I send our heartfelt condolences to his wife and family in the loss of your loved one.

After all of the time that has passed over the years, we still remember with fondness the kindness and professionalism of Mr. Batson.

May he rest in eternal peace.
