Virginia M. Harbin, 88 of Greenville, SC passed away on Friday, December 7, 2012. Born in Westminster, SC. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Radford and Mildred Peden Mason. She attended Business College and retired from Greenville News after 50 years of service in the Classified Dept. and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Greenville. Virginia is survived by a brother: Thomas (Jo Ann) Mason and four sisters: Carolyn Mason Wilborn , Betty Mason Moore, Dorothy Mason Kellett, and Martha Mason Thrailkill; six nieces, one nephew, four great-nephews, four great-nieces, and three great-great nieces. She was predeceased by her husband: Perry Preston and a sister: Frances Mason Dillard. Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
