

Born March 17, 1948, in Ogdensburg, New York, he was the son of Wallace and Frances Flack.
Wally was incredibly hardworking and spent much of his adult life as an over-the-road truck driver. He loved to tell stories and was known for his sense of humor and outgoing personality. He was sociable and made friends wherever he went. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling the country in his RV with the love of his life, Carolyn. He was also an avid NASCAR fan and attended races with family and friends whenever he could.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Aline Flack; his sons, Eric (Jen) Flack of Elizabeth, Colorado, Leonard (Diana) Flack of Baldwinsville, New York, Donnie Raines of Greenville, South Carolina, Melissa (Gary) Levesque of Greer, South Carolina, and Heather Phillips of Topping, Virginia; his sister, Eleanor (Clark) Chase of Penfield, New York; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Wallace Edgar “Eddie” Flack.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Lyman, South Carolina, with Pastor Tim Wofford officiating.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
