Wiles Franklin Webb, 81, went home to be with the Lord November 5, 2014. Born in Brunson, SC he was the son of the late James W. Webb and Tinye Brunson Webb. Frank was a 1954 graduate of Clemson University. He was a company commander, a member of the senior platoon and the Pershing Rifles. Frank was a faithful member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church and the Roundtable Sunday School Class. He was a loving Husband, Father and “Pop”. He is survived by his wife Peggy, a daughter, Celestia Howanich (Matt) of Florence, two grandsons, Jacob and Dylan, a sister, Clara Maxwell of Florence, a brother Wilson Webb of Conway and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Mary Emily Pow. Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 3:00pm at BSUMC, with visitation at 2:00pm in the Orders Parlor. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Congregational Care of Buncombe Street UMC, 200 Buncombe Street, Greenville, SC 29601; or Brunson UMC, Brunson, SC 29911.
