Butch was born in Greenville, SC to the late Lloyd and Grace Jones. He was a huge football fan (Go Tigers!), and loved his family and grandchildren. He worked at Southeastern Paperboard, and attended Springwell Church in Taylors. He always had a joke and a story for just about everything.
Butch is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janice Jones; his daughters Laurie Harvey (Eric) and Kristen Burden (Robbie); his grandchildren Stefani, Ian, Alicia, and Emily; and his sister Pat Gosnell.
A memorial service will be held at The Chapel at Woodlawn Funeral Home on Saturday, September 3rd at 11am. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-10:45am, and burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
