William Carl Hilley III

William “Carlos” Carl Hilley, III, 54, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

Carlos was born in Greenville, a son of Henrietta “Reta” Worley Johnson, and the late William Carl “W.C.” Hilley, Jr. He enjoyed playing golf, spending time in the mountains with his friends, and watching football, especially the Pittsburg Steelers and Clemson Tigers. He proudly served our country in the US Army.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is one brother, Samuel Todd Hilley (Sherri) of Easley; two sisters, Andrea Faith Clardy (Brad) of Taylors, and Tonya Renee Hilley of Greenville; six nieces and nephews, Cory, Austin, Skyler, Chase, Colby, and Pearl; aunts and uncles Charles and Wanda Whitlock of Greenville, and Cecil and Ann Worley of Taylors; seven cousins, Deborah, Cecil Jr., Karen, Joey, Greg, Chuck, and Carla; and his beloved dog, Rowdy Lee.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Horace and Emma E. Worley and his paternal grandparents, William Carl Hilley, Sr. and Hazel Hilley; aunt and uncle, Jean and Harold Fain; and his step-father, Gene H. Johnson.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Century Drive.
