William "Bill" Roy Sentell

William "Bill" Roy Sentell was a beloved husband of 58 years. Bill passed away in his home Friday, November 20,2020.

Born in Cateechee, SC to the late Harley E Sentell and Ruth Gilden. He was the founder of Bill Sentell's Portrait Studio, where he enjoyed 50 years of photography in the upstate.

Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years Peggy, daughter Dawn Merck (Tory), son Mike Smith, 2 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by son William Bret and grandson Austin Smith

A funeral service for Bill will be on Tuesday November 24, 2020 at 11:00am in The Chapel at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC 29609.

So truly sorry to hear about the passing of “Mr. Bill.” My most sincere prayers are with you all! So many hours and hours of time spent together through the years at Peggy’s School of Dance with Mr. Bill behind the camera capturing so many memories for us and all of the dancers and their families.
