Greenwich resident Alicia Holland Arnold died on August 24, 2015 at Greenwich Hospital at the age of 88. Born on February 17, 1927 in Chicago, she was the wife of Richard Arnold whom she married in 1949. Alicia was the daughter of John and Lydia Holland who lived in Old Greenwich for a number of years. Alicia attended the Brearley School in New York City and graduated from Barnard College. She worked at Sloan Kettering before moving to Greenwich. Alicia was an active member of the Junior League and also pursued her lifelong interests in painting and creative writing.
She is survived by her husband Richard of Greenwich; her daughter, Pamela Schiz, of Edison, NJ; her son, Robert Arnold, of Atlanta, GA,; her daughter, Andrea Newberry of Ringwood, NJ, and six grandchildren.
