

Audrey Lathrup Hadcock, lifetime volunteer and community leader, both in Greenwich, Connecticut and Keene, New Hampshire, died May 12, 2025 at the home of her daughter, Joan Ridgeway in Norwalk, Connecticut. She was 98 years old.
Born in Lathrup Village, Michigan on September 23, 1926, she was the eldest child of Earl and Olive (Arundel) Lathrup. Her two sisters, Elaine Lathrup and Doris Lathrup Wilson, and her brother Lee Lathrup, pre-deceased her.
Her husband, Dean Hadcock died in 1995.
She attended Annie Lathrup School, a school named after her grandmother; Farmington High School, where she was President of her sophomore class and editor of the school paper; and graduated from Michigan State College with a B.A. in Speech Therapy.
She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands, Ann Defeo and Halford Park, Joan and Alan Ridgeway and Susan and Mark Ridgeway, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
At Mrs. Hadcock’s request, there will be no visiting hours or memorial service.
Her ashes will be entombed in the mausoleum at Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich, next to her husband of 46 years.
