Beverly M. Puris, 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. Beverly was a native of Ohio, and a long term resident of Greenwich, CT and then New York City. Beverly loved spending time with her children and was a loving and doting grandmother. She enjoyed spending summers in Nantucket, MA and had many passions including photography, traveling, and walking fast. She was very active in her church and hosted bible studies in her home for many years. She was also a proud pet parent to her West Highland Terrier, McDuff and her Havanese, Jetty.
She is survived by her daughter Kimberly M. Puris and son Jason P. Puris and his wife Katie. She is also survived by her grandchildren Oliver F. Puris and Clementine E. Puris who fondly knew her as "Mona". Friends and family are invited to join us at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT on Monday, September 18 from 10:30-11:30AM and for a church service at Stanwich Congregational Church, 202 Taconic Road, at 12:00PM. Donations may be made in Beverly's name to the ASPCA.
