
Candice L. Goodwin a Greenwich , Ct. resident of over 40 years passed away at her home surrounded by her family on January 23, 2011. Born in New Haven , Ct. , she was the daughter of Lucille Caporale DeLucia and the late Vincent DeLucia.
Candice earned a B.A. degree from Quinnipiac College where she was a member of Alpha Mu Gamma, the National Collegiate Foreign Language Honor Society. She was a very creative and artistic individual who enjoyed many different interests: photography, attending the ballet, flower arranging, cooking, baking, traveling, reading (especially Jane Austin), and playing tennis. One of her favorite passions was needle pointing and needle craft arts. She was employed at Next Station Needle Point for many years. Her love of life and people was so evident in her many interests and her large circle of so many different friends. She was a beautiful individual who enjoyed being with people and having fun. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her 3 new grandchildren. Candice was always at the center of planning and carrying out family gatherings, events, and celebrations. She was a member of the Saint Michael the Arch Angel Parish, the Milbrook Club, and the Delray Racquet Club.
Candice is survived by her husband of 42 years, Terry; they were college sweethearts; her daughter Heather and her husband Paul, her son Terence and his wife Danielle, her grandchildren Charlie, Chloe, and Trent, her mother Lucille, her brother David, her Aunt Ann and over 13 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Cheryl.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St Michael the Arch Angel Church 469 North Street Greenwich on Saturday January 29, 2011 at 11:30 A.M.
