Catherine Theresa Cronin

Catherine Cronin passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on December 14, 2024 in Greenwich, CT. Born in Queens, NY, on February 9, 1943, Catherine was the daughter of the late John and Mary Cronin and the younger sister of the late Nora Cronin, who became a Sister of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is survived by her children, Deirdre and Sean Jennings; her brother, Daniel Cronin and his wife Susan; her nephews, John and Daniel, and their wives, Sonya and Danielle, and her grandnieces, Nora and Kerry, and grandnephews, Jack, Conor, and Harrison. Catherine is also survived by her former in-laws, Lynn and Brad Taylor, Kathleen Taylor, and Lauren Ann and Shane Bannon. Catherine’s passion in life was teaching. She was a faculty member at Greenwich Country Day School and Greenwich Academy. Catherine touched the lives of countless students over her teaching career. Catherine was a woman of faith, strength and kindness. Her devotion to God guided her through life. She found joy in her family and purpose in her faith. Her presence will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace.
