

He is survived by the love of his life, Margaret, his beloved wife of 66 years and daughter Elisa Foley of Cos Cob. He also considered the hundreds of boys who worked for him throughout the years to be his sons.In 1935, he graduated with highest honors from Fordham University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry. For many years, he was Commissioner of Jurors for the Town of Greenwich, served as Election Moderator, was head of the Greenwich Republican Finance committee winning numerous awards for fundraising, served as an RTM member for District 12, and was Past President of Cos Cob Rotary Club. He was especially proud to have been ex-Asst. Chief and Acting Chief of the Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Department and an early member and driver of the Cos Cob Volunteer Ambulance Corp. He was a devoted parishioner of St. Catherine's Church in Riverside and had an unwavering faith in his religion. Dan was a constant prankster whose strength and vibrant personality never faded. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 28th at 12:30 PM at St Catherine of Siena Church 4 Riverside Avenue Riverside, CT
