
Dominic Joseph Caruso, age 87, passed away Wednesday morning from Alzheimer’s Disease. Born in New York City, Dom grew up in the Bronx and was a proud graduate of the Bronx High School of Science and New York University. He served during the Korean War in the Counterintelligence Unit. Dom had a long, successful career with New York Telephone and AT&T. He also got great satisfaction from his years working with the United Way of Westchester/Putnam.
The most important thing in Dom’s life was his family. He was a wonderful husband and father. He had a positive effect on everyone he met and his smile will be missed by all who knew him.
Dom loved music, art, reading, learning new things and talking to people. Dominic is survived by his wife Camilla, his daughter Christine and grandson William, his son Robert, daughter-in-law Karen, and his granddaughters Katherine and Alexandra, as well as a very special extended family who loved him very much.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, July 14th at 11:00 am at St Paul Church, 84 Sherwood Avenue, Greenwich, CT.
