Doris is predeceased by her mother Ann E. Wagner, father Lee O. Wagner and her husband Andrew H. Scales Jr.
Doris is survived by her daughter Linda Scales with her partner Kevin Care, son Andrew Scales III, daughter Kristen Scales and three grandchildren Haley Gentile, Jordan Gentile and Brandy McCarey.
Doris was born December 30, 1938 in Greenwich, Ct. She was a graduate of Greenwich High School class of 1956.
Doris was a homemaker and patent librarian. She worked for Amax and American Brands among others.
Doris loved the water and the beach. She loved sharing her stories of Island beach when she was young and then later taking her own children there. Doris was an avid arts & crafter and loved sharing them with others
Services will be private. A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
