Elba Luz Rivera

Elba Luz Rivera passed on July 12, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico on March 10, 1945. Although Elba Luz Rivera was a resident of Pinellas Park, Florida, she lived most of her life in New York.

She leaves behind her beloved husband John “Felipe” Rivera and loving daughters Doris and Carissa.

She was a proud grandmother of four; Israel, John, Christopher and Alyssa Isabella.

Elba was blessed to have two great grand children, Manning and Maeve.

Her family brought her endless joy.

Elba loved cooking for her family and enjoyed crafting, decorating, flowers, butterflies and bingo!

She battled and overcame health issues throughout the years. Her strength and faith for God were boundless. She is embraced by God alongside her loved ones who have passed. May she rest in eternal peace.

She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Elba was a light and blessing to all!

Visitation will be held at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT 068306512, US, on July 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will take place at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich, CT 068306512, US, on July 24, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.

A Graveside Service will be held at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Greenwich, Greenwich, CT 06830, US, on July 24, 2026.
