Born in Puerto Rico, Elizabeth was the daughter of Francisco and Juana Escobar. She dedicated many years of service to JP Morgan, where she was known for her commitment and strong work ethic. Elizabeth found great joy in dancing, especially to the lively rhythms of the salsa music she enjoyed. She also loved spending quiet moments challenging herself with crossword puzzles.
Elizabeth is lovingly survived by her daughter, Dr. Diana Santiago and her husband, Dr. Edwin Tavarez, as well as her cherished granddaughters, Sophia and Lauren. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, Esther, Leila, Hilda, and Frank.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28th, from 12 noon to 3:00 PM at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street, Stamford, CT 06905.
A funeral service will begin at 1:00 on Sunday, June 28th.
