Frank J. Honoski

Francis J. Honoski 1926 - 2011 GREENWICH – Francis Honoski, 85, passed suddenly at home on November 23, 2011. Francis was the son of the late Frank and Helen (Goclowski) Hojnoski of Hatfield, Massachusetts. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy upon graduating from St. Mary’s High School in Katonah, NY and served during WWII’s Liberation of the Philippines on the USS LST-700. Upon his honorable discharge from the service, he attended the University of Miami before settling in Greenwich where he spent his working career as a sales executive. Francis was a loving husband and caregiver to his wife, Helen (Lucas) Honoski. Francis leaves two brothers, George Hojnoski and his wife Mary, of South Hadley, MA and Robert Hojnoski and his wife Ortence, of Ludlow, MA and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 in the chapel at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, Four Riverside Avenue, Riverside, CT.
