Gloria Jean Hanlon

After a protracted battle with cancer, Gloria Jean Hanlon, passed away on March 1, 2017 at home in Greenwich, CT at the age of 58. She leaves behind her husband, Dennis Hanlon; her daughters: Shanley (Rowe), Sydney, Sawyer and Stella.

Gloria was born on September 12, 1958 in Yonkers, NY, to father William, Shanley and mother Nancy Shanley.

Gloria graduated from Pace University, with an MBA in Accounting and then continued on to receive her CPA license. Gloria went on to become a professor and Assistant Chairperson of the Accounting Department at Mercy College.

Gloria and Dennis were married on January 7, 1984. Gloria is survived by her husband and children, as well as her mother, Nancy Shanley and companion Bernie Siegel, sister, Rosemary Frugoni, brother-in-law Alan Frugoni and son-in-law James Rowe.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, March 3rd, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home, 31 Arch Street, Greenwich. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 178 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich.
