Gloria Belmont Hopper, of Greenwich, CT, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2018 surrounded by family during her final days. Gloria was the owner and president of the Belmont Feed Company, the largest grain and feed company in Westchester and Fairfield counties founded by her father, Anthony R Belmont, in 1917. In addition to a successful business woman, Gloria was a devoted mother and wife whose passion for family and faith was always at the forefront. A Greenwich, CT native, Gloria and her family also enjoyed residency in Bernardsville, NJ, Naples, FL, and Danby, VT. Gloria was lovingly called “Glory B” and “Rocks” by her family, references to her signature BMW license plate and her love of precious stones. Always the life of the party, Gloria hosted many family gourmet gatherings followed by songs and laughter around the piano.
