Jane is survived by daughter, Ann Gaulocher and husband Scott Gaulocher from Old Greenwich, CT; and son, Vance Yates from Punta Gorda, FL; nephew, John G. S. Yates and his wife Eileen of Weatogue, CT, along with grandchildren; Todd, Mark and wife Leah, Alexa, and Chandler.
On October 3rd, 1953 she married Homer Allen Yates, Jr. and resided with their family in Riverside, CT for 32 years. Retired to Owl’s Head, Maine, then in 2008 she moved to reside at Edgehill, Stamford, CT.
Graduated from University of Nebraska. Moved to New York City to work at Time Inc. then worked at Mead School and Play-Care in Greenwich, CT.
Volunteered for Greenwich Junior League, Greenwich Garden Club, Riverside Yacht Club, Christ Church-Alter Guild and First Congregational Church.
